ABSTRACT

Chemical goods and processes that are created from the ground up by principles that make them favorable to life will serve as the material foundation upon which a sustainable society will be built. To determine whether compounds and processes are depleting or renewable, harmful or benign, and persistent or rapidly degradable, it is necessary to take into consideration the important intrinsic features of molecules from the very beginning, which is the design stage. The ideas of green chemistry and green engineering will need to be incorporated into products, feedstocks, and manufacturing processes to meet the requirements of an enlarged definition of performance that considers sustainability considerations. To accomplish this change, it will be necessary to combine the most successful aspects of scientific and innovative traditions with the most recent developments in systems thinking and design. ABSTRACT 

Nanoscience, the scientific investigation of matter at the nanoscale, offers a multitude of advantages and difficulties.   Positively, it has brought about a revolution in medicine through precise drug administration, expanded materials science through the use of nanocomposites, and improved energy technology like batteries and solar cells.   Nevertheless, there are apprehensions over possible health and environmental hazards, ethical quandaries, and deficiencies in regulations.   In order to tackle these difficulties, it is crucial to conduct thorough research on the toxicity of nanomaterials, implement strict laws, and foster international collaboration.   Furthermore, the responsible advancement of nanotechnology can be facilitated by the promotion of public knowledge, adherence to ethical principles, and continuous monitoring of environmental effects.   To leverage the advantages of nanoscience and minimize any potential negatives, it is crucial to allocate resources toward education, promote international collaboration, and adjust governance systems to accommodate the changing nature of this field.

Demonstration Of Risk Assessment In Utility Conflicts

ABSTRACT  

Fast traveling connections between the cities or states are the major supporter in the growth of the economy of any country but in countries like India transportation means like highways play a vital role in the uprising of the economy as well as the safe and fast travel of the population. India has a very high population density than many other countries and thus is a cause of sophisticated and packed working system in various aspects of the country. Out of many sociological and environmental and financial causes, there is the problem of the Utility Relocation from the proposed project right of way (ROW), which is the reason for most project’s completion delay. Utility conflicts are a major problem that is faced during new construction or widening of a highway because there are various departments and organizations working in our highly dense country, they tend to have a conflict of utilities overlapping or intersecting with each other.  It has been observed that delay in utility relocation is one of the major reasons which leads to the untimely completion of highway projects. Improper accounting/estimating of the utility relocation in detailed project reports also affects adversely the execution of projects as sudden changes. Good risk-avoiding decisions on design and construction cannot be made without knowledge of where these systems are, how they are constructed, and design constraints for relocation or construction in their vicinity.  Therefore, a pre-planned detailed report needs to be documented and furnished describing the utility conflicts and their solution throughout the project. This paper will explore, explain and recommend educational and training needs as presented in recent research studies with interviews conducted with design engineers, survey teams, and utility authorities.

ABSTRACT  

Stress is characterised as a condition of anxiety or mental tension brought on by a challenging circumstance. Stress is a typical human response that drives us to confront challenges and threats in our lives. Everyone goes through periods of stress. Stress causes the body to release hormones that may raise blood sugar levels. Diabetes patients may experience negative symptoms from this, although they may be controlled. People who have Type 1 diabetes, in which the pancreas stops producing insulin, or Type 2 diabetes, in which the body cannot utilise insulin and the ability to generate insulin gradually declines, are more likely to experience bone fractures and osteoporosis. Women with Type 1 diabetes are 12 times more likely to fracture than women without diabetes, which is linked to lower bone mass. Osteoporosis Because it typically goes undiagnosed until a bone is shattered, and sometimes even then, osteoporosis is referred described as a “silent” illness.

Excess intake of Glucocorticoids leading to Osteoporosis

ABSTRACT  

Glucocorticoids are potent medications that reduce inflammation and boost your immune system to treat a variety of illnesses. Basal GC levels are crucial for intermediate metabolism and play a role in the growth and homeostasis of a variety of bodily tissues, including the skeleton, from a physiological standpoint. Numerous investigations on mammals have shown that GC hormones play a beneficial effect in bone remodelling and modelling by promoting osteoblastogenesis, which preserves the bone architecture. Although the so-called stress hormones’ pharmaceutical effects have received considerable attention, little is known about the impact of endogenous GCs on bone mineral metabolism as a result of the endocrine stress response in vertebrates. Additionally, stress reactions differ among vertebrate lineages and depend on the stressor (such as mineral requirements, physical stress, and psychological stress), life cycle events (such as migration and ageing), and stressor (such as starvation, predation, and environmental change). This review aims to provide an overview of how endogenous GCs affect bone metabolism. Osteoporosis is a medical disorder that causes bones to become brittle and more prone to breaking. Stress, which causes physical, emotional, and intellectual reactions, is a typical bodily response to change.
